V-PPAREL BRANDING & APP DESIGN
V-PPAREL is the world’s first digital fashion hub, an innovative centre for all things digital fashion where we thrive on creating a home for digital fashion in order to provide an easily accessible platform for the consumer to buy, learn and inspire their own digi-stainable future.
This project was inspired from the research into my dissertation “What impact will digital fashion have on Generation Z?” The dissertation concluded three things: the consumer didn’t know enough about digital fashion; they didn’t know where to buy it from and they didn’t know why they should be supporting it. V-PPAREL was created to tackle these three questions by creating a digital fashion brand the consumer can trust alongside creating a place where the consumer can easily access and buy digital fashion.
Alongside inspiration from my dissertation, V-PPAREL was inspired by my final year trend book: ANAGLYPH. The trend predicts the rise in digital fashion, which is ultimately inspired by the waste created by the physical fashion industry. V-PPAREL believes sustainability initiatives will not create a sustainable industry and as long as we are making physical clothing, we are harming our planet. Digital fashion is the only solution.
The V-PPAREL app allows to consumer to buy digital fashion which is stored in their digital wardrobe within their app profile. The app’s features digitally fit the virtual garments onto the user’s image, ready for the user to send this straight to their social media platforms. Creating an easy, trustworthy and sustainable way to be fashionable.
